[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Every 3rd December is an international Day of Persons with Disability. It is an observance day, promoted by the United Nations since 1992.
The Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.It is a day to help everyone become more compassionate and understanding of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
People with disabilities can be and very often are contributing and valued members of society, and today is all about appreciating them. It called for a plan of action at the national, regional and international levels, with an emphasis on equalization of opportunities, rehabilitation and prevention of disabilities.
In view of the Celebration ICCF 2020 theme is “NOT ALL DISABILITY ARE VISIBLE”
In commemoration of IDPWD, we remembered the MENTAL STRESS parents and caregivers go through in caring for children with disability.
We organised a recreational event to ease out mental stressor of 100 Parents & Caregivers of children with disability. Lots of caregivers and parents are going through EMOTIONAL TORTURE & MENTAL STRESS.
As part of the event is a raffle draw tickets in which lucky parents benefitted following:
1 . Two lucky parents won the raffle draw for a Weekend accommodation, feeding & other luxury care at Regents Hotel, GRA Ikeja.
2 . Six lucky parents won the 20k raffle draw voucher to spend at SPAR supermarket Ikeja, Lagos state
3 . Six lucky parents won 20k gifts voucher tickets to spend at Shorprite supermarket Ikeja Lagos state.
4 . Six lucky parents won raffle draw Lace Fabrics in different lastest colours and designs.
